HERP DERP, HITTIN REPLY TWICE. SMOOTH MOVES, YEP.
Yeah, this board really needs a "delete post" button for things like that. :/
Fuck I know, right? Some sort of take-back button would be helpful.
With a bit of looking, henqet is the commonly accepted Egyptologists version of the syncopated hqt.
Also, as a note, "hqt" is unpronounceable. This is another case of vowels being left off. I suggest either finding a commonly accepted version with vowels, or just interpolating your own, otherwise your Nehekaran is going to be composed solely of consonants.
This is probably a good idea. When writing, I suppose it is okay to leave out the vowels, but when typing to symbolize speech, it does not work so well.
Time to upgrade my cheatsheet! :)
Egyptian beer was more like porridge, though. Also! They buried it with their dead. Need that beer in the afterlife.

... so the joke is that all societies basically invented Beer as their first real technology? We sort of figured that out from the Epic of Gilgamesh.
I don't know you're getting at here. Maybe because it's REALLY obvious, I don't know.
