Benificent is not someone who spends a lot of time worrying about her physical appearance. The twin-tailed comet of Sigmar is tattooed on one side of her face, and a pair of scars mar the other. She dresses in plain robes and armor appropriate for a warrior priestess, and keeps her hammers and tomes in good working order, though they might not always be polished. Her demeanor is dour and gloomy, and a smile is a very rare thing. She is, in spite of all this, a lovely young woman, and is embarassed when she's reminded of that fact.
Background:
A farmer's daughter, the priestess of Sigmar known as Benificent saw her family slaughtered and her home burned by a marauding band of Chaos warriors. Barefoot and wounded, she fled the massacre until she was found by an itinerant priest named Lennox. Nursing her back to health and supporting her thirst for revenge, Lennox helped her focus her rage into a powerful weapon of her faith, and she took the name Benificent as she became part of a sisterhood near Altdorf. Other wayward young women often came under her charge, and it is the rebellious and free-spirited witch hunter Verdandie that has drawn Benificent out of her coven and into the broad blood-soaked fields of war.
