About The Warhammer Gazette

The Warhammer Gazette  is a fansite for the online game Warhammer Online: The Age of Reckoning.  Its purpose is to assist roleplayers in finding each other, interacting, and giving them a place to store their creative projects.  You may find references to the Ostermark Gazette riddled throughout the site, so bear with us as we make the transition from being a site about Ostermark RP to something more encompassing, especially to our new collaborators from Phoenix Throne.

There are in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC) sections, and some places where it is left to the users of the site to decide.

In-Character Options

1. Create a journal for your character.  Update it daily, weekly, or whenever, it's up to you.
2. Write a short story.  Collect all of your stories into your own online book.
3. Collaborate with others on the forums.

Out of Character Options

1. Blog.  This can be used however you like.  Doesn't even need to be Warhammer related if you don't want it to be.
2. Forums.  There are plenty of other forums out there with much larger membership, but sometimes it's nice to chat with other RPers that you know ingame.

Aids to RPers

1. Alliance -> Guild -> Character lists -> Character Pages.  Looking for the right RP guild for you?  Search through our listing.  Looking for RPers to help your cause? Advertise!  Want to work out your character's history, personality, or physical appearance? Do it here, and share it with others.  Find character that your character might want to interact with.
2. RP Networking forum.  Looking for someone to spar with?  Need a villain, or a good-guy?  Wondering if a plot you've been muddling over makes sense in the Warhammer Universe?  Make a forum post.
3. Social Networking tools.  Comment on nearly anything on this site.  Interact.  Give kudos if you see something you like. 
4. Groups.  Groups give you the ability to have discussions with a limited number of other people.  Do you want to plan a secret event with just you and a few friends but don't want to go to the hassle of creating forums on a free site?  Create a group here.  You have control of who can see what easily.
5. Polls.  Wondering what other RPers really think? Ask them.
