Welcome!
The Warhammer Gazette (formerly known as The Ostermark Gazette) is here to give roleplayers playing Warhammer Online a place to showcase their writing and art, as well as find and interact with other RPers.
If you are a roleplayer on Ostermark, Phoenix Throne, Vortex (or elsewhere, I can add your server to the list if you send me a PM!), register a new account and then head over to our New Member Walk-Through page to see the recommended path to take to start interacting on the site.
If you run into problems registering (for instance, if you don't receive an email and you've checked to make sure it wasn't caught in a spam filter) or run into any other problems while browsing around the site, be sure to let me know via the Feedback form.
Thanks for stopping by,
Phileas

Masanair's thoughts wandered back and forth over the past and the present. If he thought about it too hard, everything became a complicated but intriguing web. He smirked knowing even the bad points had helped lead to the present. The present was not all that bad, but things still lurked in the future. Things that probably had ties in the past beyond his own past. He would face them as they came and hopefully do so far better than some of his latest attempts. Maybe love did fog the brain, but sobeit. Fogged he would be on some points no matter how much it irritated his mother. Actually that irritation added that extra over the top piece.
Wishes
“I wish that Archmage would come back.” Sitting cross-legged on the wooden floor, Niaris patiently combed the burrs our of Lia’s mane.
“Yes, that one,” she replied with a nod to the animal. “He has hair the color of autumn leaves. I saw him in the forest, you know. But he was on the other side of the lake. The sun was rising up all around him, and he was beautiful.”
She pouted. “I know that! I know that I said that I didn’t like Archmages! But you’re always telling me that no two people are alike and so I guess I remembered for once.”

Intizara stood on the wall of Bloodfist Keep enjoying time to think and still relishing the recent defeat of Order who had thought they could take it. Even if they had been rather disorganized at first, soon the keep had been upgraded and Order pushed off the inner door. The air blowing over the mount where the keep sat brought the smell of lava and death. She smiled as her eyes returned to the immediate area where bodies made a trail out of the keep.
"Ah, yes, definitely a good fight though you could have tried a little harder."
Her thoughts turned to other things as she listened to the sounds of both doors being repaired.
The Most Dangerous Game: SIEGLINDE
What could be more fun than hunting -- and being hunted by -- our favorite witch on Badlands?
Inspired by this post on the official forums which places a weekly bounty on a destro player, I though what if we set up something similar here against Teh Original RR80 Sieglinde?
http://social.bioware.com/forum/Server-Forums/Badlands/Target-of-the-week-4457778-1.html
Instead of dragging this out over a week, I thought we could do this in a single night. We could pick a deserted, locked T4 zone (maybe that Island near Shining Way -- or, even better, the entire island + Shining Way fort) and hunt -- and be hunted by Sieglinde.
Destro Night
Destro Night today at 8:00pm EST to 11:00pm EST. I will be there, and I encourage everyone to come and rejuvenate it. Dione of Ordo Sylvanus told me that Direwolves is becoming active, which means we will have more people to play with.
All Along the Watchtower 2
Clynt Hartigen looked over the warcamp and he shook his head to dust of the High Pass snow. Below him, down the hill, laid soldiers under his command. People he'd never wanted to lead into battle yet had rallied to his side anyways. Silently, he cursed Kerlov. The damn Kislevite had tricked him into rejoining the fight. He thought of his brother, William, who was ever-steadfast in the face of evil. He thought of his brother's friends, Martigaine, the mercenary-turned-knight, and Ozorhaar, the Slayer who should have met his doom at William's killer. Even in the face of open war, he thought of his nephew Mattius and his lover, Balvina, he'd only recently learned of. Young people to protect. Young people who would be not only the fut

She sat outside upon one of the white marble benches at the base of the White Tower of Hoeth, Lia relaxing on the fine tile work below, her flank stretched out across Niaris’ feet. “Why won’t they even let me in!” pouted the elf. “All I wanted to do was to go to the highest room and look out. I wasn’t going to disturb anyone.”
“I know…” she continued, looking down at the lion. “Rules and regulations. They all think that those are real and true! That making people feel scared and awful is the way to inspire them. That keeping people in little cages in their minds is going to make this world better. Because it makes us better than our brutal cousins.”
The Return of the Sword and Scroll
The EEET is merging with the Sword & Scroll (my old guild). It makes sense as the S&S is rank 17. We're still running a an Empire-friendly show and nothing will change in terms of guild-rank or theme. Please contact me (Clynt), Arbrior (Kerlov), or Faulkor (Charlse, Baeos) for an invite. Also, Z, we need to set up a time with you, me, and Arbrior so that we can get into the alliance. Story for why this is happening is coming soon.
EPICNESS (for those who don't follow the alliance forums)
Today was a great day for Order. After being unable to complete an instance in LOTD, the group dispersed. Lesoir, Limor and I decided to hit the scenarios. Things weren’t going so well at first, but we soldiered on, and thank god we did, or we would have missed out on an epic battle over the Riekland Factory.
This is my side of the story. I do hope that one of the Twins gives us their recount of the battle, since they were in the thick of it and I wasn’t!

Intizara walked into her grandmother's office with a smirk on her face. She had wanted to avoid the place, but had been called there from the depths of the academy's library. She had been sorting through a mix of things for her advanced classes and an attempt to find answers to other things without it peering the latter held more interest. She had to find the answer and she probably was the answer. Her smirk widened as she closed the door behind her.
Matron Fioralainn simply waved an aged hand at a chair without bothering to look at her granddaughter though the parchments on the desk before her held none of her attention.
