Welcome!

The Warhammer Gazette (formerly known as The Ostermark Gazette) is here to give roleplayers playing Warhammer Online a place to showcase their writing and art, as well as find and interact with other RPers.

If you are a roleplayer on Ostermark, Phoenix Throne, Vortex (or elsewhere, I can add your server to the list if you send me a PM!), register a new account and then head over to our New Member Walk-Through page to see the recommended path to take to start interacting on the site.

If you run into problems registering (for instance, if you don't receive an email and you've checked to make sure it wasn't caught in a spam filter) or run into any other problems while browsing around the site, be sure to let me know via the Feedback form.

Thanks for stopping by,

Phileas
Editor-in-chief of the Warhammer Gazette

Giving the Past

Character:

Opening her eyes now, she realized that she must have fallen asleep fully dressed upon her bed, not even bothering to turn down the sueded indigo silk coverlet.  She had trudged home after another day at her new posting, and Thiralis thought with a smirk that she had never been this tired when she had been assigned to battle.

Of Master's and Schemes (5)

Character:

Masanair laid stretched out flat on his back in his bed staring at the dark ceiling.  He should have been able to fall asleep by now.  He could not even blame Varsil due to his snoring because the sound was not annoying him at the moment.  A grinned into the dark as he looked to his left and thought about slapping him on the butt.  Instead, he decided to let Varsil sleep as his mind wandered.

Diary Report of an Feld Marshal Part 4:The Tiger Ace.

Character:

the situation over the conflict surrounding fortenhaf tooked an large diferent dimension after we have placed an foothold over the shipyard from the city , the receivement of reinforcements to me coming from the Kislevite frontlines  and as well from the 7th panzer division headquarters was pretty much to conclude quick as possible that fight , however couldnt afford to imagine what the enemy had as well received in their addition.

*while adjusting the military uniform , an soldier comes running and quickly opening the tent of Heraclios while trying to retake breath*

soldier:-sir...SIR!you have to see this!quick!

Visitor

Character:

Thiralis wearily made her way to her townhouse, kicking stones in the alley and watching them bounce up against the narrow walls and down to the street again.  She didn’t feel right, and she didn’t know what it was.  It was a vague feeling of unease, of grumpiness, that pervaded her every thought, her every action.  Though most would say that I’m grumpy all of the time, she reflected with a smirk, then shrugged.  They simply don’t know the meaning of dedication.

There, the wards were disabled, and her key unlatched the lock.  Stepping inside, she meticulously repeated the process in reverse, even double-checking the staunchness of the door.  Satisfied, she moved into the parlor, and then froze.

Times Remembered

Character:

Moruchtuil scowled at the pile of scrolls and books scattered on the table before him.  He hated being cooped up inside, but he needed written proof.  Without it he could never be sure of what his memories were telling him.

He placed his elbows on the table and placed his face in his hands.  He only had a couple more thinks to look at.  His yawn nearly popped his jaw.  With a low growl he lowered his hands and grabbed a ragged looking scroll.  His fingers clumsily undid the tie and rolled out on the table.

"A record of missing persons, like anything got done with this.  We're in a war."

Of Masters and Schemes (4)

Character:

((This comes just before the interactive RP trek to Talabecland))

Intizara watched the venerable matron of the academy pace before the windows of her office.  Beyond the windows the lighting of the Slaaneshi quarter of the Undercroft could be seen, but nothing of interest could be seen from where she sat across the room.  Her eyes refocused on the room taking in the many items depicting worship of Slaanesh in some form.  She found some of them quite distracting and right now she could not have herself miss anything the matron said.

Masanair shifted in the chair next to hers.  He was having a hard time not smirking, which was bound not to go over well at all.

the darkness ...

Character:

The night has fallen following when  Septmus and Intizara started to sleep under the watch of the stars...Septmus night could be as like the several others he had before with her...but something...happened....

*suddenly...awakening slowly as watching carefully and into very slow moves with his head....watchs around...and see himself surrounded by mysterious dense clouds...the clouds are positionated themselves into an quite medium sized distance from his body...the own floor his body on that moment touch and has 'awakened'  was cold but similar to done in marble...*

Discomfort

Character:

She exited the tailor shop with a knowing and satisfied smile upon her lips, the tiny bell above her head at the doorway gleefully sounding her departure.  A new shipment of silk had come in from Cathay, and Thiralis had bought much of it.  Silk peignoirs as light and transparent as a whisper, silk draperies for the high arched windows of her home, and, most importantly, buttery smooth silk sheets on which to lay her tired limbs after a day of battle.

Expectations

Character:

"I see some of you have learned from my last lesson and applied that knowledge in the world around you. Excellent, in doing so you have made it a better place and make our Lord proud. As He teaches me, I teach you, and you will eventually teach others. So continues the chain of master and student."

Of Masters and Schemes (3)

Character:

Intizara had spent most of the day fighting beside Septmus, her slave.  As she already knew from the first mission she ever did with him, part of how she had paid for him, he knew not only how to fight and strategies of doing so effectively.  Much of it was exploration and minor missions that had them traversing much of Troll Country with some intense skirmishes mixed in.  By the end of a long day, they had picked a place for the night at a camp near the border of Talebeclad.  There she rewarded him well for a great day of fighting, but was in turn found great pleasure.
